Web Developer
The web developer works on different IT applications under the supervision of a project manager, either for independent software vendor or for private users. The web developer can work as an Internet developer but he can also be a program developer. No matter his expertise, his mission is to program. He also participate in all the aspects o development of an IT or multimedia project, from the beginning until the end.
Principal goal
After receiving the requirements for the specific project, the developer will determine the technical specifications of the programming.
He will then start coding with the script required for the specific project.
Organize tests in order to find bugs and correct possible errors on the program or the website.
Be in charge of the maintenance and the evolution of existent programs and websites.
Work with graphic designers on the ergonomic aspects of the projects.
Possible collaboration with the sales department in order to determine the work required for a project.
The program developer sometimes has to direct user guides.
